We are using the current 2.0 ruleset for this tournament, as well as the considerations below:

Character Selection: Each person submits 1 character sheet after registration. No changes may be made to this sheet once the tournament begins.

Level 6 - 2v2: As fits our balanced set, let's push it to the limit this season. We will be using 5e RAW and our 2.0 Basic PVP Ruleset.

PVP Referees: One Competitive Referee is required for play, as they will set up, moderate and record the match in our logs once complete.

Maps: Every game, every team may veto 1 of the possible 5 maps. Next, a Dx will be rolled to determine the battle map (Depending on the remaining number of maps after vetoes).

Registration: You must have filled out the form below by 23:59 EST on January 9th.

Scheduling:
- Team Submission Deadline: Jan 9th
- Character Sheet Deadline: Jan 16
- Pool Games: Jan 16-Feb 7
- Finals: Feb 8-14

You will be required to play 3-4 games between Jan 16 and Feb 7. These games are to be scheduled between groups and can happen in any order. A space will be given for this scheduling to happen on our server.

Finals:
The top team from each bracket will be invited to a small single elimination finals tournament. There are also wildcard slots, so don’t give up! These teams will play for the title!

Wildcard Slots: The amount of spots will vary with tournament registration, but they will be determined as follows.

- Your team must complete all matches in your pool to be considered for a wildcard slot.
- Eligibility will otherwise be determined by 1) Those with the most potential (perhaps locked in a heavy bracket, but worth a second look) and/or 2) Those who put on a good show (an entertaining battle worthy of the honor of the arena).

Keep your turns brief:

Although minimal help and strategic advice is allowed on the table between teammates. This is competitive play, and you should have an idea of what you want to do. Taking too much time to either speak or type in secret degrades the experience and extends the match unnecessarily past expectations. The players and those watching, thank you.

Respect and appreciate the referee:

Please don’t argue with negativity. Referees do have the final say–This is true as is the trust we have in those with the tag. Please feel free to bring up considerations, as we all err. But after the quick discussion, what is ruled is, and the match must move on. If there is an issue with this and you need some help, please message Fred after the match.

Recording:

Games may be recorded and posted online. Your permission for this will be taken for granted upon initial registration. Sharing in fun will be an important part of allowing our community to grow together. You will be clearly informed about everything prior to being recorded or streamed.
